Mode of Action
ALPA CLEAN provides multi-target antimicrobial action through its complementary active ingredients.
Glutaraldehyde reacts with microbial proteins and cellular components, causing structural and functional damage. Benzalkonium Chloride (BKC) and Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride (DDA) primarily act on microbial cell membranes, disrupting membrane integrity and causing leakage of essential cellular contents.
The iodophor component provides iodine-based antimicrobial activity that can oxidize and disrupt critical microbial proteins, enzymes and cellular structures. The combined action interferes with multiple essential microbial functions.
